We want to help you reach for the horizon and see what is possible. BUT, you gotta take baby steps. Growth requires both unbound vision and incremental moves.

To learn what you want, need, struggle with, or excel at calls for patient and careful listening. We want to hear your story, listen for patterns, listen to the data while prioritizing empathy and respect. Why? We aspire for humility to serve your unique goals.

We may face challenges, weaknesses, even tragedies, but we can still live with joy. Life should include both gravitas and levity which allows us to have a growth mindset, to look for the good in situations and people, to seek and embrace creative opportunities for growth in everything.

Leadership is service. Teaching is care. We want to be encouragers who honor uniqueness in people and teams, and who take an unscalable personalized approach to coaching.

We all can grow in this "courage to stay" when the race gets hard, when the pace gets demanding, when our own minds and bodies try and convince us to quit. We want to be faithful to our tenacious calling to persevere while facing hard stuff, and we want to help you with this too.

ENGAGE TO LISTEN
Our first step is getting to know you.
We don't want "Listening Well" to be a mere website platitude, we see this value as woven into everything that we do throughout our process.
This means that we center everything we plan, teach, structure, and walk you through on you or your organization.
Listening occurs in a conversational moment, a process, a team response, even a facial expression.
We seek to make use of the best tools for understanding-- from personal communication, to data-driven team assessments, to personality or strengths tests in order to understand you in a way that suits your goals.

ENVISION TO SEE
Working with your Strive coach, we help you realize a "blue sky" long-term ideal as well as a "baby steps" present-day realistic picture of what your goals could be as we assess your unique personal design, professional or fitness goals, organizational or life situation and help you see a path forward. We want you to be able to see a potential that you can work toward.
We'll gather data through assessments specific to your coaching needs in order to put together a holistic picture for you or your team to strive for.

EMPOWER TO CREATE
All of these components working together will empower you to chart & navigate your own path, create new habits, shape new thinking, & realize your agency to make the best choices for your situation.
No matter what domain you're focusing on-- leadership, team, fitness, life --your creative initiative is the vital step for you to you be the author of your own story, to be in control of your own body and health, for your organization to function from a place of wellness, for your leadership to expand as a gift for those you serve.

ENCOURAGE TO EXPLORE
We're all about purpose and presence. As Simon Sinek writes in "Start With Why," we can achieve more "if we remind ourselves to start everything we do by first asking why," by starting "from the inside out."
We encourage you to explore your "WHY" for the growth you desire so that your motivation goes deep, so the actions you develop are more than just temporary behavioral modification, all so that you can see sustainable change. This sort of encouragement involves cheering and affirmation, but it also involves structure, accountability, and reminding you of your unique WHY as we partner together.

EQUIP TO ACT
Having helped you project what realistic goals might look like in your challenges and priorities, we meet you with plans, resources, teaching, training, and intentional conversations to help growth.
Far from a mere "data dump" of knowledge, exercises, or workouts we want to help you process through the content that is a part of your development plan.
The purpose?-- to help you apply assessment-tempered knowledge, resources, and guidance for confident next steps.

ENDEAVOR FOR MORE
Growth is not linear, it sometimes waxes and wanes and moves through cycles.
But, no matter your path, always moving toward the horizon, and maintaining consistency in the same direction is key. We help you exercise "reflective practice" to evaluate your process and adapt innovative ways forward.
We believe that consistently walking this path will ultimately transform your work, your body, and your life for your good and for the good of others.

we do

Daniel started Strive as a way to serve the various leadership, fitness, and personal growth needs of as many people as possible. Strive is the vehicle to offer practices and principles to help us progress toward our Blue Sky for each person we serve.
